For more than 30 years, I’ve helped people understand difficult ideas. That same teaching approach guides my bowling coaching: I don’t just tell bowlers what adjustment to make—I help them understand why it works.
As a USBC Silver Coach and Gold Coach Candidate, I work with league bowlers, youth athletes, high-school competitors, and advanced players. My goal is to replace guessing with clear evidence, purposeful practice, and better decisions—so every bowler becomes more knowledgeable, confident, and independent.

My coaching is shaped by more than 30 years as an educator. I’ve taught mathematics and physics at the high-school and college levels, and I currently serve as a university mathematics professor. With master’s degrees in Mathematics and Education Leadership, I’ve built my career around breaking complex ideas into clear, practical steps.
On the lanes, that means helping bowlers recognize patterns, evaluate evidence, and understand the reason behind every adjustment. The goal isn’t simply to fix one shot—it’s to develop a bowler who can solve problems independently.
